No team in the area is hotter than the Eastern High School baseball team.
The Musketeers have won six straight games and eight out of their past nine, improving the season record to 10-11.
The most recent win was a 2-1 thriller over Clarksville.
Cody Shepherd drove in Jordan Eberle with the winning run on a ground ball out in the top of the seventh.
Eberle started the rally by leading off with a single and then he advanced on a balk and an infield hit by Kaleb Nicholson.
Dustyn Miller was the winning pitcher.
Prior to the win over the Generals, the Musketeers beat Lanesville 6-5.
After a Shane Williams double to start the inning, Jacob Hornung hits a two-run homerun in the bottom of the sixth to put Eastern on top.
Nicholson got the win and Miller earned the save in thrilling fashion.
Miller struck out the batter and the game ended when on the same play the Lanesville baserunner was caught stealing.
Eberle had a big hit in the second when he cleared the bases with a three-run double.
Earlier last week, Eastern picked up a 15-5 win on May 7 over visiting New Washington.
The Musketeers led just 1-0 after the first inning, but put four runs on the board in both the second and third innings.
Williams was the winning pitcher. He threw six innings, allowed seven hits, five runs, but just four were earned. Williams only walked one batter and struck out four.
Offensively, Shepherd, Nicholson and Williams each had three hits.
Shepherd drove in four of the Musketeers 15 runs and Williams had three runs batted in.
Brayton Brading and Nicholson each had two RBIs.
