Purdue University and the University of Kentucky Volleyball teams will play a match at Floyd Central Thursday at 7 p.m.

FC Head Coach Bart Powell said he is friends with both head coaches and neither wanted to make the trip to the other campus and decided to meet at FC.

Admission is free and doors open at 6 p.m.

Purdue does have a commitment from a Providence player and a player from Christian Academy in New Albany has committed to play for the Wildcats.

Powell said the match will be a good opportunity for volleyball fans in the area to come and watch an exciting match-up between SEC and Big 10 powers.
