Help students and teachers at Henryville, get a free eye exam Print

Insight Eyecare Associates in New Salisbury wanted to do something to help the storm victims in Henryville.
With so many different church groups and organizations meeting the many needs, Dr. Timothy Masden said the employees at Insight Eyecare Associates wanted to do something that they hadn’t heard of anyone else doing.
That’s why they came up with the idea to collect backpacks filled with school supplies for students and teachers in the Henryville school corporation.
“Some of our patients are teachers at Henryville and one was telling us that all the kids lost all their school supplies and the teachers lost all their class room supplies,” said Dr. Masden. :
On March 19 backpacks filled with supplies will be collected and Insight Eyecare. Anyone who donates one will receive a free eye exam that day.
For those who don’t want to shop, they can donate $25 and supplies will be purchased with that money to go to students and teachers in Henryville.
Masden is asking for those planning to donate to call 812-366-3147 to set up an appointment. He added however, that no one who wants to donate will be turned away.
“We are planning to be pretty busy that day, so we hope everyone can come and donate,” he said.
Masden said Insight is also planning to call patients to see if they would like to make a donation to help the students and teachers at Henryville.
