Pre-registration is now taking place for the 13th Annual Charlestown Founders Day 5K Run/Walk scheduled for Saturday, June 22. This event is co-sponsored by Anytime Fitness/Charlestown (www.anytimefitness.com) and Pacers & Racers Running Store/New Albany (www.pacersandracers.com) and held in conjunction with the Charlestown Founders Day Celebration. This years’ Run/Walk will be a road race through historic Charlestown.

From May 28 to July 26, the YMCA of Southern Indiana is encouraging parents to help keep their kids physically active and mentally engaged by signing them up for the Y’s summer day camps. Summer is a critical out-of-school time when children and teens can benefit from enriched learning, new experiences and making new friendships. The Y’s summer day camps offer all of this and more.
