This was an awesome weekend for the Cougar Harriers of North Harrison. A HUGE COUGAR CONGRATULATIONS goes out to Ashton Bosler and Natalie Hollensead and the North Harrison Cross Country Boy’s Team who made school history again this past Saturday by winning the school’s second consecutive Semi-State Championship! In the Girls’ Semi-State race, Ashton Bosler had another great performance and will advance to the State Championship Meet next Saturday. The top six teams and the first 15 overall individuals advance from each of the 4 Semi-States to the Indiana State Championship Meet in Terre Haute. In a field of Southern Indiana’s best 160 runners, Ashton ran an excellent race and finished in 7th place overall with her second best time of the season at 19:04. Natalie Hollensead also ran a great race and finished in 59th place overall and had a PR time of 20:52. Congratulations again to both Ashton and Natalie who represented NH so well this past weekend. Ashton will run in the 2nd race of the State Meet starting at 1:45 p.m. after the boys’ race at 1:00 p.m. Make plans to come out and support Ashton as she continues her quest to be one of the top runners in the State of Indiana.
