The Greenville Town Council has scheduled a public hearing on Nov. 11 from 6 to 7 p.m. for reading and public discussion of Town of Greenville ordinance No. 2013-WO-051 establishing of proposed new water utility rate charges.

The Salvation Army, at 2300 Green Valley Road in New Albany, will be taking applications for Christmas assistance (food, clothing and toys) beginning Monday, November 11, and continue through Friday, November 22. The applications will be taken from 9 am to 1 pm, Monday through Friday. In addition, applications will also be taken on Thursday evenings from 4 to 7 pm.

David Camm cracked a slight smile of relief as he climed into a sheriff’s vehicle, on camera for the first time handcuff free in more than 13 years after jury found him not guilty last week of murdering his wife and two children.
