Clark County Treasurer, Janet Hurst wants to inform taxpayers because of several calls received in regards to their property taxes that while they are waiting for their 2008/2009 tax statements to be approved by DLGF(Department of Local Government Finance) that they do have the option to pay towards their taxes, although she encourages them to only pay 50% of what they paid in 2007/2008 of their annual tax statement. “I want taxpayers to realize this is only an option for them to pay in advance until you receive your tax statement with a due date.” You can make payments in person at the Clark County Government Bldg., 501 East Court Ave., Rm 125, Jeffersonville, IN or mail payments to P.O. Box 1508, Jeffersonville, IN  47131. If you have questions, please contact Clark County Treasurer’s Office at Phone 812-285-6205.
