The Charlestown Police Department would like to inform local residents and visitors of scheduled road closures and parking restrictions for the 13th annual Charlestown Founders Day Celebration.  The Department requests your assistance and cooperation in making the event enjoyable, safe and secure for everyone who attends. As a reminder, alcoholic beverages, weapons or any kind, lude or disorderly conduct will not be permitted or tolerated in and around the event areas including Greenway Park and the Charlestown City Square.

Borden Youth Soccer Club holding registration PDF Print E-mail

Borden Youth Soccer Club is now hosting sign ups. Kids ages 4 to 13 are welcome to sign up for the club. The season will begin in mid August and run thru early October. Each team is guaranteed eight games. Participants must have a pair of shin guards and soccer cleats in order to play. Borden Youth Soccer Club will supply a jersey, shorts and socks.

Students in 15 Clark County Schools proudly participated in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Pennies for Patients program, one of LLS’s national School & YouthSM Programs that raises money to find cures for leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma while providing information and support services to patients and their families.

An Austin man has pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor charges in Scott Superior Court filed after a wreck on Tuesday, June 4, in which two people were injured, one a teenager whose right foot was amputated.
