Borden teen recognized with Power of Children Award PDF Print E-mail

Makenzie Smith is a remarkable fourteen year old girl whose dream is to have enough coats to distribute to all the at need population in the Louisville Metro area. Makenzie’s Coat Closet has now collected and distributed over 14,000 coats, thousands of hats, gloves and scarves for those in need. Makenzie started her mission as a second grader and has continued to meet the needs of our area’s less fortunate.

The Greenville Town Council has scheduled a public hearing on Nov. 11 from 6 to 7 p.m. for reading and public discussion of Town of Greenville ordinance No. 2013-WO-051 establishing of proposed new water utility rate charges.
