The band “Good Evening, Miss” from Charlestown, Indiana, recently won third place in the 2011 Kentucky State Fair Battle of the Bands. The competition finals, which included fifteen bands from across Kentucky and Southern Indiana, was judged by Jeffrey Lee Puckett, Courier Journal Music Critic; Gregory Riggle, Vice President Industry Relations & Business Communications for SESAC in Nashville; kRi Martin and Hettie Mays of Louisville music duo kRi & Hettie; and solo artist Peter Searcy.
