Looking to get rid of your old sneakers? Help the YMCA of Harrison County lift a family out of poverty by donating your used athletic sneakers and soccer cleats. Through the Perpetual Prosperity Pumps Foundation (PPPF) Africa, a bottom up approach to eradicating poverty and rainforest preservation, the Y is collecting used or new, not abused, athletic shoes, size seven and up, and soccer cleats of all sizes to donate to PPPF.

BRS helps bring 21st Century Community Learning Center Program to HC students PDF Print E-mail

During the 2010-2011 school year, Blue River Services, Inc. partnered with the North Harrison and South Harrison School Districts to bring the 21st Century Community Learning Centers Program (21st CCLC) to 5 local elementary schools. Over 500 Harrison County students were able to benefit from the program this year. This partnership with BRS and area schools made enhanced learning opportunities available to students grades K through 6 at North Harrison, Morgan, Corydon, New Middletown, Heth Wash-ington, and South Central elementary schools.
