Charitable organizations which serve Floyd County and are interested in learning more about the Horseshoe Foundation grant application process are invited to attend one of two grants seminars being offered.  The first opportunity is Tuesday, August 24th from 11:30am to 1:00pm (Brown bag lunches are welcome.)  It will be held in the Scribner Place YMCA in the first floor multipurpose room at 33 State Street, New Albany.   The second opportunity is Thursday, August 26th from 7:00 to 8:30 PM.  Thursday’s meeting will be held in the Scribner Place YMCA in the third floor board

Josh Hurley, 15, and Jamie Hurley, 17, both of Charlestown, recently competed on Saturday, July 31, in the Indiana State Bodybuilding championship held at the convention center in downtown Indianapolis. Both boys competed in the teenage division.
