Kick back, relax and enjoy a variety of musical and other types of entertainment at this year’s 17th Annual All-American Country Hoedown. June 2-5.
Join us on Thursday, June 2 starting at 6 p.m. in the Brown / Vernon Fire Department for the selection of this year’s Junior Miss and Miss Country Girl Pageant and listen to the sweet sounds of Katie Stahl.
Awards will be presented for the 2011 Festival T-shirt Design contest.

Body recovered from Ohio River PDF Print E-mail

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office dispatch received a call from Coast Guard from the port of Louisville advising that a tow vessel had located the body of a white female floating in the Ohio River around river mile marker 586.5. The vessel was advised to recover the body and take it to River's Edge Marina located in Charlestown.

The Salem Myers Pool will open Memorial Day, Monday, May 30th for the public, from 12:30-5:30pm, weather permitting.  Daily admissions fee is $2.00 per person, $1.00 for pre school.
