Local Girl Scout Reaches Gold PDF Print E-mail

The Kentuckiana Girl Scout Council is preparing to honor a local Senior Girl Scout, Nicollette Barreras, on May 11, with the completion of her Girl Scout Gold Award Project.  This is the highest award given in Girl Scouts.  The Gold Award is held in the highest regard in the same manner as the prestigious Boy Scout Eagle Award.

Goering charged with five counts of sexual misconduct with a minor PDF Print E-mail

A 12-day investigation that began March 5 resulted in former Washington County Commissioner Michael Goering being arrested and charged with five counts of sexual misconduct with a minor.
Goering, who is currently a county employee, is also facing a sixth charge of attempted sexual misconduct with a minor.
