With the beginning of school fast approaching, area parents are again facing the high cost of clothing their children at school. To help the residents Clark, Floyd, Scott and Washington with part of the cost, the Salvation Army will be giving away clothing at the Salvation Army Thrift Store, located at 528 Little League Boulevard in Clarksville. The giveaway will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 from 8 am to 8 pm.

Frank Anderson has been a renowned citizen and contributor to life and community in Pekin since may of 1954 only one month out from his service to the U.S. Army in Korea. Frank came to Pekin in search of employment from his hometown Haymond in Fletcher County, KY and has since contributed many of his years and talents to the service of town, county, state and country.
