The Salem City Council held their final public meeting of the year on Monday, December 10, 2012. There was much talk that evening about economic, business and road development in Salem, where the city has been over the past few years and where it may be heading in the upcoming year.
Mayor David Bower was pleased to report that a few of the city’s major construction projects have been making progress recently.

Another one can be added to the list as Salem High School Athletic Director Mo Moriarity was hired to be the Bloomington South Head Coach and assistant AD at that corporation’s school board meeting Monday (Dec. 10).

Clark County FOP Lodge makes Christmas merrier for 25 local students PDF Print E-mail

Monday evening, December 10, 25 very excited kids from throughout Clark County met at the Clark County Courthouse. These kids were all ready to met their hero of the evening and spend some time with a local law enforcement officer during the Clark County FOP Lodge #181 Cops for Kids event.
