Sheriff’s Department to Enforce Seat Belt Use by Motorist Throughout County PDF Print E-mail


Beginning April 20, Scott County Sheriff’s Department will increase seat belt patrols throughout Scott County as part of the state’s Rural Demonstration Project (RDP). Agency officials announced their participation in the annual effort, which aims to increase seat belt use by motorists in rural counties with the highest percentage of unstrained fatalities.
