ASSE International Student Exchange Programs, in cooperation with the local high school, is looking for local families to host boys and girls between the ages of 15 to 18 from a variety of countries: Norway, Denmark, Spain, Italy and Japan – just to name a few.

On Saturday, April 27, the Washington County Family YMCA celebrating YMCA’s Healthy Kids Day® with a free community event that encourages kids throughout the community to get moving and learning, and families living healthier. Healthy Kids Day, the Y’s national initiative to improve families’ health and well-being, takes place at 1,900 Ys and kick-starts healthier behaviors now and throughout the summer, a critical out-of-school time for children’s health.

After losing to Paoli 4-1 on Monday, the Eastern High School girls’ tennis team regrouped and won against visiting Charlestown, 4-1.
Krista Roberts extended her winning streak to seven by winning in the  number one singles position 6-1; 6-2.

The Miss Clark County 4-H Fair Queen Pageant is now accepting applications. Any Clark County young woman ages 16-20 is eligible to participate. She must be an active member of at least one worthwhile organization in the community and must be sponsored by a Clark County business and/or organization.
