Join Dorothy, Toto, and all their friends as they journey to meet the great and powerful Wizard in this classical stage version of the film. Everyone will be sure to recognize their favorite songs, including Ding Dong The Witch is Dead, We’re off to See The Wizard, Follow the Yellow Brick Road, and Somewhere Over the Rainbow. This will truly be a community show, as we will feature a large number of local elementary students in the roles of the munchkins.

The Floyd Central Highlander Band and Emerald Guard earned a coveted bid this past weekend to perform at the Indiana State School Music Association Marching Band Finals this Saturday, November 8, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. This is the band’s sixth consecutive appearance at the Indiana State Marching Band Finals in Class B. Only 10 bands in each class earn the opportunity to perform at State.

Borden Business Park LLC has secured several leases that will be occupying over 250,000 SQFT of warehousing and manufacturing space at the Borden facility, these commitments requires Kentuckiana Trading LLC which is owned by the same group, to adjust their business model and footprint from being open to the public and having an on-line presence, to selling their products exclusively on-line. The owners of Borden Business Park LLC believes that these commercial leases will be good for the community by raising the tax base and bringing new jobs to the Borden area.

A man riding his bicycle during a rainstorm in Austin early on October 14 was struck by a vehicle and injured, Austin Police Department records revealed recently.
Rannie Rogers of South Third Street was hit by a 1998 Chevy Blazer being driven by Elisha D. White, 21, Austin, just before 6 a.m. during a rainstorm.
