Traffic stop nets 50 pounds of marijuana PDF Print E-mail

 

On Feb. 1 at approximately 4:47 PM, trooper Nate Abbott observed a gray 2005 Ford Taurus, following a semi too closely in the slow lane of Interstate 65 South Bound near the 16 Mile Marker. He initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and as he was talking to the occupants he could smell an overwhelming odor of raw marijuana coming from the vehicle.

After starting the season 17-0, the Lady Musketeers suffered back-to-back losses, before regrouping last Thursday with a 60-31 win over Henryville.
Henryville kept Eastern’s post players from scoring big numbers in the first quarter and kept the score close with Eastern only leading by four.

Hank Jacoby, Board President, began the proceedings by announcing that Manny Alvarez had been elected Vice President of the board and Larry Nelson was elected as the new Treasurer.
