Clark County 4-H Board honors Roberta Bastian for 50 years of service PDF Print E-mail

The Clark County 4-H Corporation Board honored one of their own during last week’s 4-H Fair.
Roberta Bastian has served as a leader for the Clark County 4-H Program for 50 years. She was surprised the opening night of the fair with a celebration after the dress revue with cupcakes and punch. Bastian was surrounded by family, 4-H’ers and fair goers. She was also honored on Friday night prior to the Livestock Auction. Bob Allen, Extension Educator, presented Roberta Dietrich Bastian with a Clark County 4-H Memory Brick. During the celebration on Friday night, Bastian was surrounded by her granddaughters.

Troopers from six states target distracted drivers PDF Print E-mail

An unprecedented number of citations for distracting driving were made in a week-long multi-agency enforcement campaign called the ‘6 State Trooper Project’. The Indiana State Police joined forces with Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and the Kentucky State Police on major interstates from June 16-22, in an ongoing effort to combat distracted driving. Nearly 2,000 citations for distracted driving were issued among the six states. Distracted driving citations include texting, cell phone, reckless and careless driving.
