Students at Salem High School spent several months earlier in the school year learning about soldiers who were killed in action during World War II, and then developed websites to honor the memory and celebrate the lives of these fallen war heroes.

The Spring Edition of Friday Night on the Square is planned for May 17. 
This is a unique event, that closes all traffic to the Salem Square and allows people to participate in karaoke, watch demonstrations from the YMCA martial arts class and tumblers’ class, and visit numerous vendors lined around the Square.
