Coaches, Players, and fans would all describe the rivalry Eastern/Salem game as the game of the year. Saturday night’s rivalry game included two technicals, charges, multiple lead changes and plenty of attitude. In the end though, it was the Lions who got the better of it 61-57
Salem Head Coach Hank Weedin said it was a typical Salem/Eastern game.

She’s currently attempting to fund two charter buses for a trip down to Lexington, Ky., to take part in Winter Jam, a traveling Christian musical and outreach event targeted at teenagers. Her endeavor has been named “The Gravity Project: Pulling Youth Closer to Christ” and that’s exactly what she’s hoping will happen.

Lady Senators end 10-year PLAC drought PDF Print E-mail

The West Washington girls’ basketball team won seven games last season. That was after the team averaged just two wins a season over the previous eight seasons. This year they are on pace to pass last year’s win total.
Another sign that the Lady Senator basketball program is headed in the right direction is that for the first time in 10 years, they claimed a victory in a PLAC game.
