Raising approximately $8,600 for scholarships for Salem High School seniors, the 8th Annual Taste of Salem was a huge success. The total amount raised was almost $3,000 more than past events.

Rape trial rescheduled again PDF Print E-mail

The trial of a Daniel Miller was set to begin on Oct. 19, but was rescheduled and is now set to begin on Jan. 18, 2011.
Miller was a census worker and is being charged with burglary resulting in bodily injury, a class A felony and rape of a victim mentally disabled such that consent was not possible).
