The high school football season will get underway this Friday for all three local high schools.

Mother Nature forced Friday Night Lights in Washington County to become Saturday morning sunshine as heavy rain and lightening forced the West Washington-Eastern came in Campbellsburg to be postponed.
Both schools reconvened in the Burg and after shaking off a few cobwebs, the Senators cruised to a 42-0 win.

Part of the door in the case of the death of 8-month-old Leelan Crain was closed last Tuesday in Washington Circuit Court when Judge Larry Medlock sentened Jamie Lykins.
