Every year, the Washington County Substance Abuse Council awards grant money to groups and organizations who are working to help put an end to drug and alcohol abuse in Washington County. This year, there were six recipients: Youth First of Washington County, Salem High School SADD, Eastern High School’s Leadership Project, Hoosier Hills PACT, West Washington School Corporations Choice’s program and the Salem Police Department.
