The West Washington Senators started the year 4-0, but had lost three in a row heading into last Friday’s game at Eastern Greene.
The Senators got back on the winning side and improved to 5-3 with a 28-14 win heading into Friday’s showdown against Salem.

The Eastern High School volleyball team avenged an early season loss to the Salem Lady Lions.
The Lady Musketeers won on Sept. 29 at SHS, 19-25, 25-18, 36-34, 27-25 eastern.

EHS students meet Lt. Governor PDF Print E-mail

On Sat., Sept. 27, three Eastern High School students and two sponsors traveled to Indianapolis to accept the My Community, My Vision grant from Lt. Governor Sue Ellspermann.  The grant combines the Lt. Governor’s office, the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority, the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs, and Ball State University to support the students in creating positive change in their communities; Eastern was one of only five applicants chosen in the state.
