The event will be at the fire station (number one) in Pekin.

There will be a discussion on disaster preparedness and awareness, the area's greatest threats and how friends and neighbors can be ready.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Department is warning local businesses to observe for counterfeit currency, which has been circulating through local businesses and banks, according to Detective Brent Miller.
