Club Impact is offering their second consecutive season of club volleyball for ages 11 to 18 for boys and girls.
Club Impact announces 2010-2011 season.  Club volleyball is open to all area schools.  The girl’s club fee is $425 for the 2011 season.  We have increased our schedule this year to include a minimum of 9 tournaments.  Please see website for fundraiser details.  Players can drastically reduce their individual $425 fee with fundraising.

Woman arrested after robbery PDF Print E-mail

It didn’t take long for authorities to arrest a suspect in an armed robbery Friday, Oct. 29.
Washington County Prosecutor Dustin Houchin, alleges that Holly Chastain, 32, Salem went into The Dutch Bakery Store with a pair of scissors in hand and committed the robbery.

Juvenile flees after crashing into Taco Bell PDF Print E-mail

A 17-year-old Washington County male is in custody after he wrecked into Taco Bell last weekend.
Washington County Prosecutor Dustin Houchin said the his office has a history with the teen and there is a possibility he will be charged as an adult.
After the accident the teen fled the scene, but was arrested by Salem Police officer Chris Cauble.
The teen is currently being held under suspicion of being intoxicated with both drugs and alcohol in his system.

At around 9 p.m. Friday night Gracie’s Quik Pik, which is located at the corner of Anson Street and State Road 56, was robbed.
