The Silver Creek girls’ volleyball team had a great year this season as they captured the Mid-Southern Conference undefeated, won a sectional and a regional. Their next goal was to win a semistate, but that wasn’t meant to be as their season ended on Saturday, Oct. 28 at the Columbus East Semistate.

The Sellersburg Police Department enjoyed another successful Christmas For Kids recently as volunteers and officers spent the morning helping to make sure Christmas was a little brighter for 31 Silver Creek students. Christmas For Kids Coordinator Jarin Dodds enjoyed his first year heading up the program. Dodds was recently promoted to Sergeant and inherited the Coordinator of the program with the promotion.
