High school basketball fans braved the cold and superstitions of Friday the 13th to venture to Historic Charles E. Meyer Gym in Scottsburg to cheer on their favorite team in Sectional 30 semi-final action.

The Charlestown Wrestling League will hold Charlestown Elementary Wrestling Clinic sign ups for preschool through second grade (3rd through 5th grade will sign up and practice at each elementary school. They will have their own competitions).

Charlestown Family Activities Park located at 1000 Park Street (across from CHS Football Field) is open for Ice Skating Friday nights from 6 to 9 p.m. and Saturdays from 12 noon to 9 p.m.

The cost for ice skating is $5 for all ages two and up (includes skate rental). Ages under two free.

Scottsburg needs overtime to squeak past North Harrison, Corydon sneaks past Charlestown in Sectional 30 action PDF Print E-mail
Fans filled the gymnasium at Corydon Central High School on Friday night for the second night of the opening round of Sectional 30 play. The night was originally set for semi-final action, but due to inclement weather blanketing the local area with several inches of snow, Sectional play was postponed last Wednesday night.
