Training is a part of any local law enforcement's regiment. Local officers are continuously training to become better and more aware of what should happen in case of an emergency.
The local K-9 teams are no different. Recently K-9 Officers from Sellersburg, Charlestown and the Clark County Sheriff's Office came together to learn from Jeffersonville Police Department's Master Trainer Glen Jackson. The local K-9 teams have been meeting to train together for several years. There was one difference to the training recently. The building.
The teams met in a new building in Clark Maritime Center thanks to a casual conversation over the Christmas holiday.
