Charlestown Middle School girls cross country team came in fifth place in the Mid Southern Conference out of 15 schools.
Whitney Andrews won a medal running in sixth place with the time of 12:40. Also, setting a personal best time were: Alysha Flaget, running 12th with the time of 13:16, Kaitlynn Henning placed came in 22nd at 13:54 and Samantha Snodgrass, 43rd with the time of 15:44. Also running was Molly Sumner who came in 53rd at 18:16, Josh Hurley, 32nd at 12:32, Konnar Heil, 43rd at 14:43 and Jacob McCoy, 63rd at 20:01.

Pirates celebrate Homecoming with 41?14 win over Cougars PDF Print E-mail

The Charlestown Pirate Football team didn’t dominate the time of possession; but did dominate the score as they rolled easily over the visiting North Harrison Cougars last Friday night in the Bone Yard.  
The Pirates (5?3, 4?2 Mid Southern Conference) accumulated 457 offensive yards and six scores in just under 16 minutes of game possession; to make good use of their time with the ball.

Lady Pirates basketball scrimmage and steak dinner to be held PDF Print E-mail

New Charlestown Lady Pirates Basketball Coach, Sam Terrell and his coaching staff, wish to announce that they will be having a scrimmage game against the Springs Valley Lady Blackhawks, Saturday, November 6 in the new Charlestown High School arena at 3 p.m.

SC girls golf takes conference title for first time in school history, earn trip to Regional PDF Print E-mail

The Silver Creek Lady Dragons golf team left their mark in the history books.
The girls made school history recently by taking the Mid Southern Conference title. While the goal was reached, the girls were just not satisfied. They went on to be runners-up at Sectional to Floyd Central and participated in Regional at Eagle Valley Golf Course in Evansville. The regional appearance was also the first time in school history for the girls golf program.
Head Coach Joe Ledbetter was also named Mid Southern Conference Coach of the Year.

Pirate football’s new offense clobbers Salem, 44?2 PDF Print E-mail

The Pirate football team got some injuries healed and a new offensive scheme to dominate the Lions (0?7) on Salem’s homecoming night.  
The Pirates (4?3) only needed 50 plays, generating 330 yards of total offense, to score 44 points on the Lions.
