The following girls, who are juniors at their respective high schools, have been selected by the Wilbur M. Ruby Post 204 The American Legion Auxiliary in Sellersburg as Delegates to the 2014 session of Hoosier Girls State. Hoosier Girls State will be held June 22- 28 at Trine University in Angola.

Saturday, May 31, is going to be a busy, fun-filled day with something for everyone, benefiting a fine young boy, Connor Aaron, 10 year old from Charlestown, who has Cystic Fibrosis. This event will be spread out over two locations, Cornhole Tourney and Motorcycle Ridge registration will be on the square in Charlestown. Bands playing and live auction will be held at the VFW Post 1427, corner of Harrison and Main Streets.

Clark County voters choose candidates for November 4 General Election PDF Print E-mail

Voters throughout Clark County took to the polls on Tuesday, May 6 to make their voices heard and cast a vote for their favorite candidates for the November 4 General Election. There was a low voter turnout throughout the 72 precincts in Clark County as only 13.39 percent of registered voters cast a ballot. There were 11,651 total ballots cast last Tuesday. Clark County has 87,014 registered voters. There were 8,721 Democrat ballots cast and 2,930 Republican ballots cast.
