23 play. The Cougars of North Harrison traveled from Ramsey with the hopes of avenging an earlier
Mid Southern Conference loss to the Pirates. Charlestown took the 49-13 regular season win over
North Harrison in week four.

Last Friday night was the perfect weather for Friday Night Football. Fans packed into Dutch Reis Field bundled up in sweatshirts, coats, hats, gloves and even blankets. Pirate Nation was not going to let a drop in temperatures stop them from cheering on their Pirates.

Charlestown Police urge Halloween safety during city-wide Halloween “Trick or Treating” from 6  to 9 p.m. as well as the Charlestown Beatification Committee’s annual “Trunk or Treat” on the square from 6 to 8 p.m. has been scheduled to occur on Monday evening, October 31.

Pirates take 40-7 win over Musketeers PDF Print E-mail

Pirate Nation filed into The Boneyard early last Friday night for the 7 p.m. scheduled kick off with the visiting Musketeers of Eastern for the final regular season game. The fans wanted to help honor the fall sports senior athletes prior to the kick off. All seniors were honored prior to the ballgame including the four Pirate grid iron seniors runningback Ryan Miles, wide receiver David Cissell, defensive lineman Zach Jenkins and linebacker Craig Jackson. The foursome began the game as the captains unit for the coin toss. The Pirates backed their seniors all night as Charlestown took the 40-7 victory holding Eastern out of the endzone until the final quarter. Charlestown improved their overall record to 7-2 and 6-1 in the Mid Southern Conference. Eastern fell to 5-4 overall.
