Starting the year 1-0 is nothing new for the Silver Creek football team, but starting 1-0 with an impressive 34-0 win over Charlestown is something that has never happened as the Pirates were 6-0 against the Dragons.
A Sellersburg preschool has been working to prepare students for a successful scholastic career for the past 16 years. Over the past couple of years the end of the year parent surveys have seen a new trend at Growing Minds Preschool. Parents are wanting more options.
Local family hosting fundraiser for Alzheimer’s Association

A local family is working to improve the life of those affected with Alzheimer’s after losing their mother in 2011. Sarah Rose Hall was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2010. Her family now honors her with an annual fundraiser, the Hall Family Alzheimer’s Fundraiser. This is the sixth year for the event.

Many educators work hours well beyond the school day and are happy to do so. Many are working on the next day or next week's teaching plans while also working to help coordinate a special activity for a school club or organization. One recent late afternoon this is exactly what was happening at Silver Creek High School.
