The Backyard Classics Car Club is a Charlestown non-profit organization that donates its proceeds to the local VFW Post 1427 and the Crusades for Children. The club was established 17 years ago to bring together classics car enthusiasts and promote the preservation of classic cars, trucks, motorcycles and muscle cars. Beginning the second Friday (6 to 9 p.m.) from April through October, the club has a cruse-in on the Charlestown square.
As in many rural communities across the country, residents of Otisco were concerned when their local Post Office reduced its retail service hours. Enter the owners of The Store in Otisco, Jimmy and Flo Woods, to fill the void.

Winter is officially over and it is time to think Spring. When we think of the idea of a fresh beginning many tend to begin working in their yards removing the last of what winter left.
