CEASe of Scott County and Communities That Care would like to invite everyone to their next Community Forum: “What’s Your Side Effect?” with Josh Bleill, Indianapolis Colts Community Spokesperson, on Tuesday, October 7, 6 to 7:30 p.m., at the Scottsburg Middle School Great Room, 425 S. 3rd Street, Scottsburg.
Marine Corporal Josh Bleill is a native of Greenfield, Indiana. After graduating high school, Josh attended Purdue University. Upon completion of his education, Josh decided to serve his country by joining the United States Marine Corps in 2004, and was activated for a tour of duty in Iraq in 2006.

Deputy woman charged when mailed package contains 85 grams of meth PDF Print E-mail

A Deputy area resident who reportedly accepted a mailed package containing 85 grams of the illegal drug methamphetamine is now incarcerated at the Scott County Security Center awaiting her trial.
Bonnie Y. Wicker, 31, East Quick Creek Road, is charged with dealing in methamphetamine, a Level 2 felony, and posession of methamphetamine, a Level 3 felony.
