The following is the Floyd County arrest list through the early morning hours of November 21.

The list is provided by the Floyd County Sheriff’s Department and those listed, in most cases are just facing charges and are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

The first basketball game of the season couldn’t come fast enough for fans, students, and players and the Highlanders really showed us in their season opener that they are ready to play this year. Despite having a young team, which consists of only 2 seniors, Floyd Central’s upperclassmen showed up huge for FC with their win at home against Christian Academy 65-28.

Coming into their home game on Saturday, Nov. 26, the Floyd Central girls’ basketball team they were in the middle of a two-game losing streak, but against Bloomington North it all changed as they walked away with a 56-39 win.
