In preparation for the City of New Albany’s plans to vacate their space and move to a new building next year, the Floyd County Commissioners approved a 30-day feasibility study to determine how to best use the space on the third floor during their August 15 meeting.

On Thursday, December 28 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, the Carnegie Center for Art and History will host a program, “Jam with a Jazz Legend,” presented by Jamey Aebersold. This is a special opportunity to attend a drop-in workshop for musicians interested in learning the fine points of improvisation. In 2014, Aebersold was given the hoorable title, Jazz Master, by the National Endowment of the Arts (NEA).
