At 6-2 FC is off to their best start in four years. The highlanders picked up two victories last week 1st handily defeating Charlestown 60-39 at home. Then going on the road to defeat Corydon Central who is ranked 4th in 3A 51-41.

The New Washington Mustangs traveled to Borden for an important conference game. Both teams were the last to be undefeated in the conference. After a good first quarter the Mustangs gave way to the Borden Braves as they steadily pulled out to take the win. The Braves have one more Conference game against Henryville. A win will give them the conference championship; a loss and they will share the conference championship.

IHSAA state tournament gets underway this week PDF Print E-mail

The Indiana High School boys’ basketball sectional gets underway this week. Games were played Tuesday and results were not available at press time.
Stories and photos from this week’s sectional games will appear in next week’s issues of the paper.
