Lanesville Heritage Festival to feature The Monarchs PDF Print E-mail

The Lanvesville Heritage Weekend, September 9, 10 and 11, 2011, has announced the schedule for free entertainment at the gazebo. The featured performer this year is Kentuckiana’s favorite oldies rock and roll group, The Monarchs. They’ll be performing Sunday, September 11, at 12:30 p.m.

Eastern's Tyler Duncan found out today that his father was killed in an accident this morning while working at Jeff Boat. He decided to play and the Musketeers rode the wave of emotion to an 18-7 win over West Washington in Both teams' season-openers.

The Musketeers had a lot of other reasons to be emotional. Be sure to see a story about the emotions and their big win, the schools first-ever in football over the Senators.

Eastern just needs a win over Salem to secure the school's first-ever county championship in football.

The Musketeers play Clarksville next week and WW travels to take on Christian Academy.

The Collingsworth Family may be singing in Sweden, to our armed forces, in California, Florida or the National Quartet Convention, but it all started right here in New Albany.
According to their DVD titled “Kim Collingsworth Personal” Kim’s musical ability began years ago in a small Wesleyan Church in Floyd County.
