The past few years have been an adventurous time for Pastor Daniel Brooks, to say the very least. When he and his wife, Gracen, decided to plant a new church in the quiet town of Galena, they weren’t exactly sure what to expect. But thankfully, what’s followed since then have been a multitude of blessings within and from the community
Blue River Services Hosts Annual Structured Family Care Giving Appreciation Dinner
The annual Structured Family Care Giving (SFC) appreciation reception was held on November 14th at the Blue River Services Washington Center in Salem. The Structured Family Care Giving residents were recognized for their personal achievements over this past year. Refreshments were served followed by an awards program. A power point presentation was shown of all the residents throughout the year by Murie Medlock, SFC Manager. The residents enjoyed the opportunity to visit with the other residents and householders for the remainder of the evening.
Friday night Borden traveled to South Central for their first Conference game after the Lanesville game was snowed out. Then Saturday night they were at home against Crothersville. Both nights Borden dominated early taking a 23 point win Friday and a 32 point win Saturday.
