The Borden boys’ basketball team entered Saturday’s game against visiting Henryville with a chance to either win the Southern Athletic Conference outright, or possibly share it with Lanesville.

The Borden Braves traveled to Orleans to play the #2 ranked, single A team in the state. What was going to be a tough game at best proved to be a battle to stay in the game as the Braves came up short 42 to 56.

Mark your calendars for the 4th annual Chili luncheon of the Georgetown Lions Club on Sat. Nov. 1st from 11:00 AM till 2 PM at Georgetown Christian Church on the west end of Georgetown. 
All the Chili you can eat with hotdogs, drinks, and deserts.

The Floyd Central High School football team beat New Albany Friday, 41-21.
The win improved the Highlanders to 5-4 on the season.
