Death Investigation in Washington County PDF Print E-mail

Yesterday (Monday) morning at 10:52 am, the Pekin Town Marshall and the Washington County Sheriff’s Department responded to a 911 call at 1124 North Anna Street in Pekin. The call was in reference to a male with a gunshot wound. Officers at the scene summonsed Indiana State Police Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators to the residence to assume the investigation.

FCHS says farewell to the Class of 2014 PDF Print E-mail
A winter filled with snow days and extreme cold prolonged the school year from local students.
But members of Floyd Central’s Class of 2014 got to don the hats and gowns and walked the isle for their diploma at the school’s recent graduation celebration.
More photos and a story from FC’s graduation will be printed in next week’s issue (June 18) of The Banner.
