Students are now being enrolled for the Perspectives class, which will take place on Sunday evenings from January 27 through May 5.
The class will be held at Old Capitol United Methodist Church, which is located at 141 West Heidelberg road in Corydon.

Fourth-quarter run lifts FC boys over Scottsburg PDF Print E-mail

Prior to the Christmas Break, Floyd Central’s boys’ basketball team picked up a big win over visiting Scottsburg.
The Highlanders used a 25-12 run in the final eight minutes to seal the 62-55 win.

Dear Readers,

When my grandfather started our publications in 1933 we were printed with a Letter Press. Each line of a story was put on a piece of lead that was stacked up to make a story. Today we prepare the paper on our computers and send it to a much easier printing process.

Christmas is normally a time to give and share, but Borden Head Coach Doc Nash doesn’t want his guard, senior Billy Kirchgessner to be so generous.
Nash said Kirchgessner is a great passer, but thinks he does it too much, sometimes to the detriment of the team.
