Borden beats WW with solid outside-in attack PDF Print E-mail

Borden sophomore Shelby Kirchgessner hit four three-point baskets in the first quarter and added another late during her team’s 68-37 win over visiting West Washington Thursday.
Kirchgessner’s early 3s were only worth 12 points on the scoreboard, but were even more valuable than that as they forced West Washington to soften the zone defense. With the Lady Senators closing out on Kirchgessner, it left room in the paint for Erin Mikel and Allison Rademacher to move around.

Pedestrian Dies in Crash on Grant Line Road PDF Print E-mail

 

On December 20, 2011 at approximately 3:54 p.m., the New Albany Police Department received a call regarding a crash involving a pedestrian on Grant Line Road near Jolissaint Ave. Due to the severity of the injuries to the pedestrian, the Floyd County CART Team was called to the scene to assist with the investigation.
