Graduates from New Albany, Floyd Central, Community Montessori and Providence High schools received scholarships from the Horseshoe Foundation of Floyd County. Fifty-two new scholarship recipients joined nearly 150 others already receiving the scholarships of $10,000.00 over four years.

Traffic Stop Leads To Mobile Meth Lab in New Albany PDF Print E-mail

Early Thursday (July 12, 2012) shortly after 12:30 AM, Trooper Mike Davis from the Indiana State Police Post at Sellersburg stopped a red 1995 Jeep for a traffic violation near the intersection of State Road 111 and Scott Street in New Albany. During the traffic stop the driver, Matthew Watson, 40, from Kewanna Drive in Jeffersonville was found to be operating the vehicle while intoxicated.
