The North Harrison Board of School Trustees voted 5-0 Thursday to accept separate grants from the Harrison County Community Foundation.
One grant, for North Harrison Elementary School in the amount of $18, 000, will fund professional development time for monthly data analysis and collaborative planning. No match was required with the grant.

The Indiana State Police Post at Sellersburg will be participating in an effort to reduce injuries and deaths resulting from crashes on Indiana’s roadways.  The Indiana Criminal Justice Institute (ICJI) and the Governor’s Council on Impaired & Dangerous Driving will be joining 250 state and local law enforcement agencies to launch Operation Pull Over Blitz 67, “Click It or Ticket”.

Police looking for two home invaders PDF Print E-mail

In the early morning hours of May 16, 2011, the New Albany City Police Department responded to a residence in the 500 block of Camp Avenue in New Albany after a report of an armed home invasion. When officers arrived the female victim reported she was asleep in her bedroom when her inside dog began barking waking her up. When she woke up there were two unknown males in her bedroom. She advised that one of the male invaders had a silver or gray colored handgun that he pointed at her while he threatened her.
