HS athletes using smokeless tobacco more than non-athletes

High school athletes who play on sports teams smoke tobacco products at a lower rate than non-athletes, but use smokeless tobacco at a higher rate, according to a study published by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in today’s Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR).
Sometime before the Labor Day Holiday, someone broke into two separate barns, one in Harrison County and one in Washington County and stole a total of four all terrain style vehicles worth approximately $30,000.00.
The 4th annual Washington County Harvest of Hope Breast Cancer Walk will be held on Saturday, October 17, at Cornucopia Farm. Registration: 8:30 a.m. Event Start: 9 a.m. Cornucopia Farm is located halfway between Salem and Scottsburg just off of Highway 56. Participants may walk as individuals or as a team. Everyone is urged to collect donations to turn in at the walk along with the completed registration form.
