Indiana Conservation Officers of Operational District 8 recently nominated Officer Neal Brewington as the 2016 District 8 Indiana Conservation Officer of the Year.  Brewington, a 13-year veteran officer, is assigned to Washington County.

Jess F. Helsel, age 91 of Salem, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2016 at his residence.

Born December 22, 1924 in Deerfield, Ohio, he was the son of the late Jesse A and Alice Agnes (Bruey) Helsel.
