The First Christian Church, located at 305 E. Walnut Street in Salem, is hosting this year’s Madrigal Dinner on Saturday, December 3, 2011, beginning at 6 p.m. It’s shaping up to be an evening full of great food, good singing and plenty of fun to be had by all participants, whether on stage or in the audience.

Chamber dinner will be big event PDF Print E-mail

The Washington County Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner will take place on Saturday, Nov. 12th, 6 pm at Southern Hills Church.  Tickets are now on sale at the Chamber Office, located in Salem City Hall at 201 E Market St.  Tickets may also be purchased from Reta Haub at PNC Bank, starting Nov. 11th.  Tickets are $20.00 and include a meal, the opportunity to watch and participate in the games.

After playing IU to open the 2010-11 basketball season, Franklin College got another opportunity to play one of the state’s top Division 1 programs this year when they traveled to Hinkle Fieldhouse to play Butler.
